Exciting news! The Expedia group, the largest online travel company in the world, is now working with Tourism Exchange Australia (TXA) to provide Australian accommodation supplier’s exposure to the more than 50 million travelers that shop for and book travel on Expedia group sites each month.
The brands within the Expedia group represent some of the most well-known travel brands in the world, including flagship brand Expedia®; hotel specialist Hotels.com®, corporate travel management company Egencia®; and European hotel reservation specialist Venere.com®; and also powers travel bookings for more than 10,000 affiliate sites through Expedia® Affiliate Network (EAN). Collectively, these brands reach consumers in nearly 70 countries on more than 140 branded travel sites and 130 mobile Web sites in more than 30 languages.
For Australian travel suppliers working with TXA, this means that all property content, rates and inventory availability will be updated by TXA in real-time and published to Expedia group sites automatically.
Given the Expedia group’s extensive global reach and dynamic brand portfolio, we think the integration of Expedia with TXA will be valuable in providing Australian suppliers an enhanced range of distribution options for their travel products and services.
