RAA partners with TXA to power South Australian tourism

1 June 2016

Adelaide, Australia

RAA, South Australia’s largest commercial travel and tourism group, in partnership with V3, developer of Australia’s world leading tourism technology platform -TXA, has launched RAA Travel Services (ATLAS).

The technology based service capitalises on the inherent capabilities of the TXA platform to deliver real time Travel Packaging and online DIY travel functionality to the RAA membership base. Using the RAA’s channel network of both offline travel services, and online through the RAA website, the technology automates how SA tourism businesses distribute their inventory through RAA channels.

The solution sees RAA deeply integrated to V3’s OBX platform to create a seamless flow of supplier content, rates and availability for both online consumers and RAA travel consultants to enhance the South Australian travel options of RAA members.

The partnership will give TXA’s suppliers an unparalleled ability to market their products through one of the biggest sales channel for South Australian tourism products plus TXA’s suite of 200 traditional and alternative distribution channels, numerous SA regional websites and visitor centres.

About V3

V3 is a leading technology company for the travel and tourism industry. V3 creates and operationalises tourism platforms that are leading edge technology, and delivers associated services, as business solutions focused on optimising revenue across all travel distribution channels with unrivaled speed, intelligence, and scalability.

V3’s well established OBX™ technology platform facilitates all tourism providers presenting content, live rates and availability, programmatically to online distributors, allowing for real-time, online booking of live accommodation, tour, and event and attraction inventory.

OBX gives integrated distributors the particular unique advantage of direct access to live inventory from smaller businesses that otherwise might not be available to them due to the limitations of the legacy ‘allocation’ based model.

V3’s focus is helping large and small, and micro tourism operators across all tourism segments, fully engage in online marketing to get more online bookings. We particularly focus on enabling small tourism businesses to access as many sales channels as possible to increase the online profile of their business and the digital profile of destinations.
